Azuki is a brand.
A new kind of brand that we build together.
A brand for the metaverse. By the community.
Our vision is to pull away from a world that's created by many and owned by few...
To a world that's created by more and owned by all.

We are the skaters of the internet.

We rise together.
We build together.
We grow together.

A collection of 10,000 avatars provides membership access to The Garden. It starts with exclusive streetwear collabs, NFT drops, live events, and much more.

Community ownership in Azuki allows for a new genre of media which we have only begun to explore...

A type of media which spans beyond the physical or digital world in isolation. What if meatspace, the metaverse, and the in-between could be even more connected?

Azuki Art

Azuki is a unique collection of 10,000 avatar NFTs inspired by anime artwork. Each Azuki NFT is created using a randomized selection of traits, resulting in a completely unique character.

The collection was released in January 2022 and quickly gained popularity, selling out on both OpenSea and LooksRare in just three minutes. Azuki generated an estimated $29 million during its launch, making it one of the most successful NFT releases to date.

Azuki's distinctive aesthetic has been described as a combination of the 3D game "The World Ends with You" and the skateboarding magazine "Thrasher." The collection's popularity skyrocketed post-launch, with Azuki hitting almost $300 million in transaction volume across NFT marketplaces like OpenSea. Lower-value NFTs were selling for around $36,000, while rare options sold for over half a million USD.

In addition to unique PFP NFTs, Azuki promised investors a long-term roadmap that included immersive 3D experiences, unique Azuki-themed merchandise, in-person exhibits for Azuki holders, and even a native currency called $BEAN.

All Azuki holders have access to The Garden, a community hub where they can participate in collabs with other NFT projects, attend live events, and purchase exclusive Azuki-themed merchandise.

However, Azuki experienced controversy in May 2022 after one of its founders published a blog post detailing the failure of his previous projects. This caused a significant backlash throughout social media and decreased the price of Azuki's by over 45%.

Despite this setback, Azuki has continued to follow its roadmap, offering streetwear to members of The Garden, the creation of a Gallery Metaverse, and plans for Meta-games within the community.

Azuki was created by Churu Labs, a group of artists and developers located in Los Angeles. The team includes individuals with backgrounds in technology, gaming, and crypto, and they go by pseudonymous names to remain anonymous.
In April 2022, Azuki launched a second collection called Azuki Beanz, which consisted of around 30,000 more affordable NFTs. Each Azuki holder was airdropped a unique character from the Beanz collection, and holders receive access to an exclusive Discord channel with future collectible drops and merchandise announcements.

Overall, Azuki is a unique and successful NFT project that has made waves in the NFT market with its distinct aesthetic and long-term roadmap.
