Chapter 1: Bricktopians

That’s why we started Abnormal Studios.
So that our holders can have NFTs that they can be proud of.
We build everything from the ground up so that it is impossible to replicate, cinema grade quality and something that you will never see again.
How do we do that?
Every time we want to build something, we start by asking ourselves:
“What is the highest quality, and hardest thing that we can build?”
“What seems impossible?”
And we build it.

To prove that it is possible to create a 3D collection, where every single NFT in the 10,000 collection is animated and moving in its own unique way.
Why don’t you see more NFTs that look and behave like this?
Well to understand that, first you need to understand how most NFTs are made.
Almost every NFT that you know and love is made through layering.
Where a number of layers are pre-selected and shuffled amongst each other, creating an entire collection almost instantly.
With Bricktopians, we did things a little bit differently.
Every single Bricktopian that you see is born one at a time by a supercomputer.
Each Bricktopian is so complex to simulate, that if we were to generate them on a laptop, it would take over 10 years to produce the entire collection of 10,000 NFTs.
Instead, we worked with engineers to create an army of supercomputers, all stitched together, working in harmony (like those used by NASA to simulate physics in the universe).
With the most GPU power that you could possibly throw at a collection of art, it still took over 5 weeks of pure physics simulations and rendering to complete the collection of 10,000 NFTs.
This is a feat that will never be replicated, and ensures that all our holders have an NFT that is unique and that they can be truly proud of.
So why do I tell this story?

Bricktopians is just the beginning. It is our genesis piece, andall future creations of Abnormal Studios will be accessed through owning a Bricktopian.
All utility that we build into Bricktopians is engineered to reduce supply, making them rarer over time (1,500 burnt from the collection so far, more on that in later chapters).

Chapter 2: Brain Boot
Bricktopians are the beginning. But Chapter 2 is how we disrupt a billion dollar industry, and reward our holders while we do it.

It’s time to introduce the artist behind all of the works of Abnormal Studios — Law Degree
Law has been the artist behind some of the world’s biggest cultural figures, including Kanye, Virgil Abloh, Young Thug, Lamelo Ball and many more.
2 years ago, Law started his journey to make the world’s first algorithmically generated sneaker that’s wearable in both the digital and physical world.
The Brain Boot:
A wearable 3D printed sneaker, that starts life as an NFT and is a blank canvas for adaptation in the physical and digital world.
There’s a key part in the above sentence that could be easily missed. 3D printed.
Why does that matter?
It means that we can create a product for the physical world that aligns perfectly with the NFT collector mindset.

Why don’t we see more NFT projects jump into this market to create value for their holders?
The answer. It’s really f*cking hard to make sneakers.
And that’s where we saw the opportunity to make something that is unique for our holders, and true to the spirit of Abnormal Studios.
So how does the Brain Boot work?
The shoe is sold as an NFT, and you burn it to redeem the physical sneaker.
As more holders burn to redeem Brain Boots, the NFT gets rarer.
And this is all accessed through owning a Bricktopian NFT
Brain Boot whitelisted access and a 30% discount are accessed through owning a Bricktopian NFT. Only a small group of Brain Boots will be available at public sale.
A limited number of Brain Boots will also be available for purchase byburning a Bricktopian NFT.
This enables us to use the Brain Boot as a vehicle to create scarcity in Bricktopians.
With Bricktopians currently sitting at a lower price than the Brain Boot, this means that some buyers can currently take advantage of an arbitrage in the price difference.

Chapter 3: BricktOrigins
When we built the first physical Brain Boot, it was the moment that took us from being just a PFP, to an ecosystem of technology driven NFTs.
In July 2022, we entered our next chapter, as Abnormal Studios.
When this moment came, we asked ourselves:
How can we tell our story in a manner that captures who we are?
How can we give enhanced utility to our most engaged holders?
How can we create the first ever brand that is born on the blockchain?
The answer: BricktOrigins
Later this month, we will be releasing 5 NFTs, each that tell the story of who we are and how we have come to develop Bricktopians, the Brain Boot and everything that Abnormal Studios builds next.

For example, the rarest Monument allows you to co-design and 3D print your own Brain Boot with Law Degree.
