Space Riders is a collection of 8,888 NFTs that are deployed on the Ethereum blockchain. The explosion of color and bold lines bring alive a unique set of characters, as Space Riders merge the concepts of outer space and the web3 space. Space Riders are on a mission to bring the people of web3 together.

$STAR TOKEN
$Star

$STAR is the utility token of the growing Space Riders ecosystem. 

$STAR is deployed on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC20 token and is a non-liquid asset (1 $STAR = 1 $STAR).
Each Space Riders NFT generates 10 $STAR per day. Holding a Space Riders NFT passively emits $STAR by the second; no staking required. The longer you hold your Space Riders NFT, the more $STAR you accumulate.

$STAR balance can be viewed and claimed through the Spaceport. Claiming $STAR requires a small gas fee. $STAR can be used for giveaways, official events, early access drops, merchandise, and more! Space Riders NFT holders are encouraged to accumulate $STAR in order to take full advantage of this expanding system.
$STAR SHOP
The $STAR Shop is located in the Spaceport and is where Space Riders NFT holders can spend $STAR. (Reminder, each Space Riders NFT emits 10 $STAR per day, no staking required)

$STAR can be used in the Shop to purchase NFTs, Allowlist (WL) Spots for upcoming mints, Raffle Tickets to win NFTs, Space Riders Merch Discounts and more!
SPACE RIDERS OG PASS (Alpha Discord)

The Space Riders OG Pass provides access to two important features in the Space Riders ecosystem. The OG Pass alpha Discord server and exclusive items in the $STAR Shop.

The OG Pass Discord is an alpha group that has been extremely successful in making calls that have provided gains for OG Pass holders. Every OG pass earns 5 $STAR per day, without any staking required. 

Holding an OG Pass gives you full access to:

The Space Riders Galactic Forge is where the boards for The Journey were minted. There are four tiers of boards:

The tier of board that you own during the final claiming period will be significant. Grab a Rider and a board to embark on your journey!
THE SPACEPORT
The Spaceport is a Rider's personal dashboard and contains several tools and applications for Space Riders NFT owners.

The Spaceport provides a platform for Space Riders NFT holders to personalize the name and lore of their Riders, write “Space Logs” chronicling the adventures of their Riders, scroll through the “Space Feed” to see what other Space Riders have been up to, claim $STAR, and most importantly spend $STAR in the Shop!

The Spaceport application is where Space Rider owners spend their $STAR, produce creative storylines, and jot down logs. This is only the beginning for the Spaceport, as we plan to enhance the application progressively.
ADDITIONAL UTILITY: IP OWNERSHIP
Space Riders NFT holders own the IP rights of their Space Riders and can use them for commercial purposes.

Space Riders have a partnership that is allowing Space Riders holders to leverage their IP by having their NFTs in an upcoming children's book “Alphabet Riders”. Space Riders holders that participate will be paid royalties from sales of the book. This is just one example of how Space Riders holders can use their IP rights to generate gains. The possibilities are infinite!
SPACE RIDERS X

Space Riders X is a collection of exclusive Riders that are obtained through a series of community events. 

Space Riders X is launched in seasons (i.e. Season 1, Season 2, etc.). Space Riders X are ERC721 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. 

SRX holders receive 1,000 $STAR per week.

WHAT IS $STAR?
-$STAR is the utility token for our growing ecosystem. $STAR is deployed on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC20 token. This will be the utility token tied to all of our giveaways, official events, early access drops, and more! It is encouraged that holders accumulate their $STAR in order to take full advantage of this system. This is an ecosystem that will be rolled out at an achievable pace with realistic incentives. $STAR token motivations are subject to change as we go through the S.R.G.G.

HOW DO I EARN $STAR?
-Every Space Rider minted via our website will be immediately rewarded with 100 $STAR per NFT. For example: if you mint 4 Space Riders, you would be instantly credited 400 $STAR. We also want to reward our holders and encourage you to hold Space Rider NFTs, so holding a Space Rider NFT passively accumulates $STAR by the second. No staking required. The longer you hold, the more you accumulate. Holding 1 Space Rider NFT accumulates 10 $STAR per day (24 hours). If you hold 4 Space Riders for 1 day (24 hours), you would accumulate 40 $STAR for the day. In addition to the main Space Rider NFTs, the Space Rider OG Pass NFT also accumulates 5 $STAR per day (24 hours). If you hold 4 Space Riders and 1 Space Rider OG Pass for 1 day (24 hours), you would accumulate 45 $STAR for the day.

-You can view your current $STAR balance and current claimable $STAR balance from our $STAR token page linked above via the "Claim $STAR" button. You can also claim your claimable $STAR balance from this page.
The Journey

Introducing a Soft Staking Rewards System


Since the beginning, Space Riders has aimed to bring utility via $STAR token. You passively earn $STAR by holding Space Riders. No staking required. This is considered a soft staking mechanism. Over the past 10 months, this passive rewards system has worked very well. From minting the OG Pass collection, SRX Season 3, NFT purchases/raffles, and community creations, $STAR token has performed great. We plan to continue to bring value back to holders. There are lots of opportunities out there.

Boards (ERC721)


For the past month, we have been teasing images, animations, and creative lore of boards. There are 4 tiers of boards (shown above). Rider, Celestial, SRX, and Ancient. As per the announcement on January 26th, a snapshot was taken of holders which decided the tier(s) you are eligible to mint. The boards will be minted with $STAR in the Galactic Forge. Everyone on the snapshot will be able to mint. The max possible supply is 3,333. This could be lower depending on the number of mints. The boards are going to become a very important tool in the Space Riders ecosystem.

Galactic Forge (Mint)


As mentioned above, the boards will be minted via $STAR token in the Galactic Forge. The 4 tiers of boards are all priced differently. Rider board being the lowest, Ancient board being the highest. Depending on what you held during the snapshot, you will have the option to mint a board. You may be eligible to mint all 4 boards. It is up to you to decide which board you mint. One board per wallet. There is limited supply. The higher value the board, the rarer it is with a smaller supply. There will be a sufficient amount of time to mint. Oh, and did we mention that OG Pass holders get a 50% discount on boards?

Docking (Soft Stake)


Like $STAR token, we have developed a docking (soft stake) mechanic for the boards. This means that the boards will not be hard staked in another smart contract. Docking acts as a toggle in which makes your board non-transferable. Shortly after the board minting period closes, we will be opening the 1st phase. In order to dock, you must hold a Space Rider.

The Journey


Once your board is docked, you will begin phase 1 of The Journey. There are 3 phases in total. Each phase has a duration of 20 days. If you undock your board and leave a phase before completion, your progress will be reset and you will start from day one. You will be taken on a journey telling you about The First Rider.

The First Rider

Inventory (ERC1155)


During this journey, you will need to collect 3 items from the inventory in order to move on to the next step. How do you collect the 3 items? Successfully completing each phase of the journey.
  • Phase 1 — Reward #1x
  • Phase 2 — Reward #2x
  • Phase 3 — Reward #3x

Each phase rewards you with an important item. Together, these items will give you access to the final location of the journey. This is where your tier of board becomes supreme!

In the final location, there will be an important claim. The tier of board that you own during the claiming period will be significant.

We want to be as inclusive as possible. No Rider gets left behind. Throughout the journey, there may be chances to win stray rewards. Riders who miss out on staking rewards should not have to worry. $STAR will come in handy.
